I just watched the video's Breitling has on their site for what happens during service, and had no idea that they completely disassemble the entire watch, inspect every part, replace anything that's worn, new gaskets, clean the whole lot, polish the case, then put it all back together, retest, etc., essentially giving you a "new" watch every service interval. I am impressed, and surprised it is not $1000 US. I will gladly send my B's in for that kind of love. Hell, I pay $350 to have my vintage sub serviced, and all they do is remove the movement, clean and lube it, new gaskets, put it back together, and pressure test it. For my money, the Breitling service is a steal.
