There is a Breitling roadshow currently to celebrate the Chronomat's 30th anniversary and also to introduce their Chronomat Airborne and some other new models. I took the chance to try the Navitimer 01 46mm and casually asked for the price. The sales staff said that they are currently giving special price for the roadshow, and quoted me 30% off the retail price!!!!! Is that a real bargain and do you think I should go for it?

You do know you're asking a bunch of people on a Breitling forum if you should buy a Breitling? :lingsrock:

If you like the Chronomat, then why not. Probably never see a new version at that price elsewhere, until they turn up on the second hand market.

I already have the Chronomat 01 LE so won't get another one, moreover I prefer mine over the airborne. This is the beauty that is seducing me:

I actually wanted to have watches of different brands and movements in my collection for variation but don't know why I am drawn back to Breitling before I even have the chance to think of which brand to go for my third piece:(
