I am also delighted with the new colt. I'm smitten with the throwback stenciled wings. Overall it has a great classic look. I was really regretting selling my colt II sq, but this looks like a winner. |

I tried an auto on at my dealer here in the uk and am totally smitten. Wears smaller than its 44mm spec implies. My wrist is 6.75 and it was perfect. I compared it to the avenger gmt and although the gmt is officially smaller at43mm it wears bigger. Side by side they are almost identical in size, the colt has a slightly deeper case but the gmt is fractionally longer lug to lug. on my wrist I could feel a difference in weight, the colt being heavier. It also felt taller and smaller, I think this is because the gmt is fractionally thinner but the lugs are longer to wrap around the wrist. it was a tough choice but ultimately the colt wore better on my small wrist and although I love the look of the gmt stencil dial, overall I feel the colt is a more traditional breitling look and is very toolish. It would also suit a large variety of strap sizes. Sitting on the desk it just had a classic steelfish/old colt look that I loved. And the price on a brushed bracelet is reasonable too. so I'll be ordering one soon, with an extra pro3/ deployant strap. The dealer said they have sold 3 blue autos and 4 quartz in the month they have had them so they predict them being a vet popular model. This puts me off in a way as I sold my omega seamaster after I started to see them everywhere but there is no denying the new colt is a great watch. |

My wrist is almost 7.5in, so I guess the Colt will be just fine. I just tend to like watches on the smaller side. I really like the Avenger GMT as well, but the Colt with the SuperQuartz is my big love. And I am really liking the traditional look as well. Well, I'm going downtown today and see if I can find one to try on. I can see both models are going to be very popular! Look forward to seeing some photos when you get your auto. Cheers, Carl |

I am happy to see them moving back towards the more classic designs, away from the trendy style of the last few years. Hopefully we'll see that trend continue, especially in the Professional line, where there is no heir to the B-1/Airwolf/Chronospace. That being said, I wish there was an option in between the 33mm Lady Colt and 44mm Colt. I want to get a watch for my wife, but 33 is pretty small, and 44 is too big. Wish they had a 39mm like the old Colt Automatic. Guess I'll just have to find something used, like the A17350. |

I like the Colt II Chrono, I own a black dial and enjoy wearing it regularly. I honestly am not into the new version. |
