My dad is a pilot for American Airlines, and bought the Aerospace on the right with a group of AA pilots when that generation of aerospace was first introduced. He had always wanted an Aerospace after first seeing one in the late 80's. When I was in high school, he taught me to fly, and I earned my private license, instrument rating, then commercial license. I always liked my dad's Aerospace, even though I knew very little about watches. In college, I got bit by the watch bug, bought and sold a lot, and ended up with the watch on the left after finding it on CL for a steal. I sent it in for a factory service, so that it looks and feels like a brand new watch. I'm going to talk my dad into doing the same for his, as the picture shows it has seen better days. I doubt that I will ever sell my own Aerospace, as I love everything about it, and it fills a spot for my future collection being unique in its own right (titanium, superquartz).
