Hey guys I'm thinking about purchasing a superocean 44 at Costco. Found one for $2800 and AD nearby wants $4100 and said the most she saw it discounted was 5% maybe.

I know that it's grey market and all but had anyone had a Breiltling from grey market overhauled by Breitling? Is that a problem?

My wife has had a Tag from Costco for 10 years and AD quoted $500 when her band broke. She took it to Costco and they fixed it for $0. So I have a good experience with Costco. Thanks for your input.

I recently picked up a Navitimer world at my local Costco. Before purchasing the watch I asked to see the box and contents and in the box was the electronic warranty card with Breitling USA listed as the seller four months previously. It never hurts to ask!!

Unless you can get the warranty card you have to treat a grey market warranty as replacement only, a repair warranty is useless because they can't get access to the parts / service staff. For regular servicing, as long as the serial numbers are intact (and it is very rare for grey market to remove them these days) there won't be an issue.

Without my receipt in front of me I would say that the price was approximately 25% off of the MSRP.

I think costco is fairly good.

Well it was actually a 42 and not 44 but went ahead and got it. It had all the usual paperwork including the cosc from breitling but not tbe warranty as expected. Please tell me that it's not a fake. The good thing is that it's fully returnable anytime.

It's real.
