there's a button to report, funnily I see lots of reads & comments, but no reports.
reported all now, this alerts the mods; so no need to report, just for future cases.

Maybe a stupid question Fred, but where is the report button exactly?

Indeed, thanks to everyone for increasing the workload with the comments, report is far more effective (and the reason why most of the spammers disappear before people see them).

Is there a sticky about not responding to spam threads? If not I believe there should be. Not to further increase your workload Roff, but to help avoid this in the future.

Given that all od the stickies that we have are ignored there is little point - too many stickies just pushes active threads down the page. Every year or so we have to remind people and it stops replies for a while, there are still only 2 or 3 people who bother reporting, and more than that who complained today that they weren't remove quickly enough........

I see, didn't mean to open a can of worms brother.

It's not really a can of worms Matt (although Roff is able to spend more time here and I these days, so I'm sure he takes more than the lion's share of the spam deletions!!), but yes, reporting the spam is definitely better than comments as it's just more to tidy up.
