The Valjoux 7750 used in the Chronomat has a Day complication built in, but the Chronomat does not make use of this like the Chrono SuperOcean does. I think I like the cleaner look of no day function, but its never bad to have that info on your watch.

Leave well alone I say! :)
I've personally never been a big fan of the day window on watches. I just think it makes the dial a little cluttered and for some reaon I think it makes them look like a Seiko or something! (But maybe I'm just weird!)

Leave it alone - the only day function that I like the look of is the Headwind style.

Driver8,

I agree, my Bentley GT had the day along with the date and I think it is too much. If you don't know what day it is you need REHAB not a watch.

 One could say that you don't need a watch then... The time is exactly an hour more than it was an hour ago - you should figure out the time then ;)

I like the day display in my CSO and I actually use it. But I also understand that there is a need for different models with different functionalities.

If I get 20 watches in my hands in a day, 17 have the wrong date...
Personally I like the date function, but I feel the day complication, gives me too much work to set watches everyday  Just kidding...
No I agree with fox,

I like the day/date function on some timepieces. Especially the Datora! Very nice!!!!!The Fortis I own has this feature with the 7750 movement, and I don't think it takes away from the watch. It doesn't have a bezel like the Breitlings in question. It's a true 40mm excluding the crown vs. 42mm including the bezel on the SuperOcean. In my opinion, if the SuperOcean's face was a true 40mm, It may look a little less crowded.

We can all sign a petition for Breitling to make it a 44, send to Breitling, problem solved! Bigger 'Ling!

Yeah I totally agree with you on the Datora - very nice indeed! Especially the white dial version on the bracelet.

But then, I also agree with Ling Man too...

.....so I'm guessing a Datora (and especially something like a QP) would suggest the memory of goldfish! :)

Who am I by the way??? Eh? Where are we?? What's a "Breitling"??

(Jeez I crack myself up at times! )

I'm hoping I get to see a Datora at Little Switzerland while I'm on vacation next week in Curacao. I just love the way it looks!
