Hello all I just got a chronomat evolution second hand. The crystal is a bit scratched. I know breitling charges 300 or do to do this plus you need to pay for a service. I noticed govberg replaces crystals for much less. Is this a good alternative. Do they use genuine breitling crystals?  Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If Govberg are an Official Breitling Repair Agent, then yes I'd say they'd be a good bet. (I'm not sure of Govberg's repair agent status.... in fact I'm not sure if BUSA even use a local repair agent model these days). If they ARE an official Breitling Repair Agent then they will obviously use genuine Breitling parts, but I wouldn't expect teh cost to be much different to sending it back to BUSA. If they aren't an official agent, then just remember that it'd be a non-Breitling approved watchmaker opening the case. Not necessarily an issue as your watch is out of warranty, but still worth considering. Your best bet IMO would be to just give Govberg a quick call : they should be able to answer your queries and give you a quote over the phone. |
