I was looking at watches with my boss today, and we noticed that the Bently was shaking in it's display case? Is this because of the movement inside? |

That sounds strange - I've never experienced anything like that. Sure, yoiu can feel the movement spinning sometimes, but when resting in a display case there's nothing that should be able to cause the movement to spin. Any other vibrations inside or outside the shop that could cause the display to vibrate? |

That's all it could be. There's nothing to do with the watch that could cause that. |

Maybe one of the girls that set up the windowdisplays forgot something under that dispaly ? Something she is now missing, cheking her nightstand, cursing and swearing ? I'm sure when the battery runs out of juice it will stop vibrating... |

The rest of the watches were sturdy, however they were not running, only the one that was shaking was telling time |

Odd. The Bentley is a heavy watch so there's no way the movement running would cause the whole case to shake. It was probably just a slightly loose stand that the Bentley was on. |

As others have said, there was probably some vibration causing the rotor to move. The others probably had their crowns pulled out - fairly common by ADs. Of course if you were wearing a Timex, Casio or similar at the time it might have been feeling nervous
