Hi all,

I am new to this forum but was hoping someone could offer me some advice.

I am hoping to acquire a second hand chrono avenger like the one here:

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=1283

I am aware they are not made any more so can any offer me some advice on how I might be able to source one, I want to get one for my dad's birthday as he has always admired it!

Also, what sort of price would be reasonable (he'd like it with the leather strap)? I live in London.

Thanks!

Matt

Watchfinder.co.uk can usually find such watches but expect to pay around 2k for it.
There are other online sources such as watches.co.uk and blowers jewellers. I've used these guys several times and never had problems.

Some pop up on ebay from time to time for about 1500gbp. Just make sure you get matching box and papers though

There was one here in the Sell/Buy section while ago.
Don't know if it has been sold.

Hiya,

There is a nice one for sale at Austin Kaye, it's on bracelet, but you could buy a decent Hirsch 22mm strap too???

Very nice, but this confuses me "Watch is fitted with modern Breitling replacement bracelet".

I reckon that bracelet would sell for at least 300 on ebay. Very rare indeed.

I was looking for one for my M1 and ended up buying a new one from AMJ for 700!! :supereek:

Did you read the whole ad?
It says replacement bracelet , but on the photos is OEM.

It means that it has been fitted with the more modern Pro II bracelet, rather than the Pro I that a Chrono Avenger of that year would normally come with.

Still OEM.
