Hi Folks,

I have the limited edition Superocean Chrono II watch and as it has the rubber bezel, unfortunately I have somehow nicked the rubber, would this be covered under the warranty?

If not how would I go about replacing the rubber bezel, it also seems to get dirty easily, im wondering about the longevity of the rubber as the watch is only a year old and is beginning to show signs of wear.

I have attached a photo.

Welcome to BreitlingSource.

I highly doubt that Breitling will cover the bezel damage under warranty as it is likely caused by owner activities, not a flaw in the watch. Breitling should be able to quote on the cost of a replacement insert.

My Supercean Chrono 2 is two years old now. I wear it almost daily and also use it for swimming etc. The bezel shows zero signs of wear (but maybe this is just because I'm maddingly careful not to bump the watch against whatever).
What do you mean with getting dirty easily?

I've been waiting to hear a story like this. I'm a little surprised we haven't heard of more issues with the rubber bezel.

The inverse bezel (steel bracelet with only a touch of rubber inlay) of the new Steelfish Chrono is thought to be a much longer lasting product. OP: Why not purchasing that bezel instead of the red rubber one?

I think so as technically the watch cases seem to be the same. The only problem is wether Breitling is willing to deliver the bezel for shift or not.
