I have owned a seldom worn Breitling Chronomat Automatic for many years (D13050.1, see attached). It is stainless and gold and it has a mother of pearl dial. The watch is in immaculate condition but moving around has separated me from any of the papers on the watch. I have not worn it in years. I need advice on the possible sale of the watch. How much will the lack of papers effect the sale price? Is this watch still valuable as described and what is its approximate worth? Is this a good time to be selling and would it be advisable to hold on to the watch. If I am asking questions in the wrong area of the forum, please let me know. |

Welcome to BreitlingSource. The FAQs recommend checking dealer asking prices on Chrono24 and completed sales on eBay for pricing. There will be plenty of similar pieces to assist. The lack of papers will have a minor impact on a piece of this s age, but the absence of a service within the last 5-7 years will drop the price by $2-300. |

I am probably not interested in a quick sale. This does, however, point out the reason why I made this inquiry. I have seen this item in far worse shape with an asking price of around $2,000. I have also seen others in better condition at over $4,000. I understand that what is asked may not be what you get but because of the significant difference in prices I am confused. |

I'm pretty sure that you can get $2500 easily, because of TT bracelet and golden bezel. |
