I am currently in the market for a new time piece. The problem is I have a small wrist. I have always been drawn to Breitling's but the majority of them are too big for my wrist. I am considering the Avenger ii gmt. Is this watch too large for small wrists? Also, can you get this watch with a brushed bracelet instead of polished? Thanks for your help.

Nothing beats trying it physically on yr wrist. Not sure whether there is brushed bracelet so will let other members answer this question. If I am not wrong Bracelets are all polished for the Avenger line.

I have a Pro III bracelet with a satin finish on my Avenger II Seawolf -- so there is a brushed finish bracelet available that would work with the Avenger series. How it would look with a polished case is a different question.

And it wouldn't fit a different watch properly.

The Avenger GMT only comes on a polished bracelet. And because the case is quite flat, it doesn't look big on the wrist. Depending on what you call a big off course. And what you call small wrists...

Thanks for your feedback. I am going to try to locate this watch at a local AD. Is there any other Breiltings in the same price range as the avenger gmt2 that I should consider. The only other one I know of is the SO abyss. Thanks !

I can tell you that I love the look of the gmt but when I tried it on at the AD, I felt it wore very small and did not have much wrist presence. It is also very light weight. I should mention that I'm 6'2 and around 200 so that could have something to do with it.
