Hello, all.

I might be taking a serious look at a second hand Chronomat Longitude and I was wondering if you could give me a few tips about what I should look for when checking the authenticity and also just in general. I'm going to meet the seller and be able to take a hands-on look at the watch.

I already know about some of the usual stuff like making sure the original paperwork is in order and the usual fake giveaways like the date font, the B logo on the bezel and such. But when it comes to this specific model, is there anything in particular I should be looking for? And again, not just for checking if its a fake but also in general.

I'm taking a look at iEdi's great pictures of it in the Gallery as I write...

Thanks in advance!

You shouldn't be worry, Longitude fakes can be seen from the airplane. There are no good ones.

If the seller is going to meet you maybe he would consider letting you take the watch to your AD to look it over? This might be asking to much?

Good luck with finding a Chronomat Longitude. I love the sub dials on this watch, very unique.
