Any ideas how to avoid restlessness, near panic feelings and biting nails when you are at home waiting for the FedEx to arrive?

Pics coming soon.

The suspense is really too much, you got to tell us or some of us may have an aneurism!

It's the iconic Navitimer World; whoever doesn't agree with the term iconic, can meet me for a sword duel. To me this is a complete watch, I'd also like to associate the terms "pure" and "trend-setter".

I went for the blue-dial version as I wanted to have a variety in my collection. I so far have black, white, brown (burgundy?).

Initial impressions:-
1. The leather strap needs time to soften, it's VERY stiff.
2. No bakelite box :( but if I didn't have one already I'd have been utterly disappointed.
3. The watch is not as heavy as I thought it would be, it goes easy on the wrist.
4. Time and GMT setting hassle free and quick.
5. Overall, it feels quite a solid, functional and very attractive time-piece.

Performance not bad, eh? I'll keep comparing as the watch settles.

I am proud to be part of the Navitimer owners club. I will cherish this prize for as long as I live.

And that completes my watch collection! (yeah, right!)

Very nice - I used to have a blue dial World myself. If you have the cash, I recommend trying blue croco with it - it works really well and dresses it up very nicely.

I have to say though, I still think the new box is very cheap looking compared to the old Bakelite. Fortunately the watches are still are as great as ever!

I really think I am done for the year; I'll start splashing the cash this same time next year. Yeah, a blue croc with a bit of shine will greatly enhance this piece.

Best way is to go on holiday for a week or visit your mistress. Either is good but less complaints by going on holiday.

I wanted to pop in and announce that the watch is showing some amazing performance. I have had it on almost everyday since 9 May. I check it against the clock every two days or so. It has been <insert suitable expletives> consistent at +1 secs every single <more> time I've checked. Kudos Breitling. My usage pattern is an IT desk job with a small amount of walking everyday. Left it on the winder during the long weekend. Wore it every other weekend on medium activity. I had bought this piece as my daily wearer as the Chronomat Evo TT was too bling and I had reserved the Rolex for suit days only.

I am pretty satisfied and would recommend this to everyone on a budget and considering the Navitimer line. :lingsrock:

The blue dial Navi World is a beauty. I have had two Worlds in my past collection, and can not go without one for very long. Nice pick up!
