I was hiking along a glacier at the top of the Swiss Alps today wearing my Emergency when I heard a noise break the crisp mountain top silence. I squinted to see this approaching me...

I panicked for a second and thought I'd accidentally pulled the transmitter on my Emergency!

Thankfully I hadn't, was just a huge coincidence!

Thankfully my emergency pin is still intact! I did have a chat with them, turns out it was a Breitling sponsored mountain rescue team practicing landing on glaciers :) one of the had an Emergency too. Unfortunately the pics of our watches together didn't turn out.

Except it's only waterproof to 50m so wouldn't have been much use in a water crash :(
