Hi guys, I have had a white faced SA for just under a year now and is a brilliant watch! However I have been thinking of getting an Emergency lately!! This is a real dilemma as I really love my SA but am warming towards the emergency.
To any emergency owners out there, does it feel small on your wrist or does it feel like a substantial watch?
I am worried that in months to come I will be longing for my SA back!!!

Quite a dilemma although a nice problem to have I suppose.

Patrick.

Welcome back In2deep, haven't seen you about for a while!
I know what you mean, I have a skyland also and it feels so much smaller.
My other problem is the colour of the dial? I really like both the yellow and the blue dial!!!! decisions decisions!! :huh

Paddymac,

Why don't you just keep the SA and get an Emergency. That way you can always go back to the SA when you need size. I had the same problem with my Bentley after I got my SA. Then when I got the Diamond bezel for the Bentley and it cured the problem and I switch back and forth between the 2 about every other day.

i've been wearing a b-2 and this weekend i was going to the ad to try on the navi and navi world. going in i i was pretty sure my preference was the regular navi. however after being used to the weight of the b-2 the navitimer felt alot smaller while the world felt great like it's all there with alot of presence.

i love the classic navi look, that was what drawn me to the breitling line but in my case i'm not sure i could go back to a smaller watch.

I have a skyland, and when I tried on an E it felt pretty small. Going from an SA, its gonna feel puny.

..... and if you go to the standard Emergency as opposed to the Mission, it'll feel even smaller ('cause it is!) and also very light as it's Titanium. To be honest, with the exception of the Aerospace, you're probably looking at the two opposite ends of the spectrum with the Emergency and the SA.

Thanks for the replies guys, much appreciated. You have all given me things to think about. I just feel that sometimes the SA is too big...that is why I bought the Skyland which is a perfect size I think.
I did have a B1 for about 2 days which is pretty similar to the emergency, it was small but I think over time I could grow to love it.

Thanks,
Patrick

I have both SA and Emergency. You really notice when you put on the E after wearing the SA all day.
However, even though the E is smaller and incredibly light (!!!) it has an appeal all of its own - and it's about 43-44mm anyway.

So, as someone who prefers larger watches - the E is still worth every penny...

I think you've got your answer right there. If that's your feeling on your SA, you will regret selling it. Keep it and save up for the E. :)

Maybe if you looked for one with a UTC it might not look and feel so small. I get a lot of comments about how huge it looks...

Agree with the others who said keep the SA. I don't have one, but I think it's the sort of watch you could miss when it's gone.
