Anyone know wholesale price of a std. Navitimer, on calf or bracelet? PM me if you do not want to post it publically.

Nobody really knows except for dealers--and either way, its irrelevant. Buying a B isnt like buying a car, where you can base an offer on invoice. You have to work for a % off list price.

May I ask why you want to know?

I think they pay 50-55 % from the list price but they have to pay custom duties and tax on that.

I am just curious - I like to fill my brain with knowledge about anything I can.

I am not trying to negotiate a price of wholesale, just curious to know what kind of profit can be made of them.

Well, I think bnewbie is in the right range. I would guess around 50% or retail.

Well having had somewhere in the region of 20 PMs from watchies I know where he is looking to buy from, so I know the answer.

That dealer pays 45% of MSRP, but as others have said, that's irrelevant. They also have the cost of maintaining a store, including stocking it with the large number of watches that you saw yesterday. There are also staff costs - salary and benefits and also commission. There is also the cost of all of the company head office functions, and of course - profit.
