Without wanting to make this post a blatant sales pitch could I please point you in the direction of the following auction.

Before you look...a bit of background.

I am a serving Royal Air Force Officer and I am taking part in a 1000 mile bike ride through 10 countries in 10 days to raise money for the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.

This Leather & Nomex Breitling Flying Jacket was kindly donated by Breitling UK for me and my co-rider to auction. The profits from this auction will go towards raising money for the RAFBF. The RAFBF is the RAF's leading welfare charity and a most worthwhile cause. A quick Google will allow you to see the work this fantastic charity do.

As a fellow Breitling owner I am sure there will be plenty of like minded people on this forum who would love to get their hands on this fantastic jacket.

(I hope I haven't breached any forum rules but if so please let me know so I can modify my post!)

Gents, I asked FlyingRuck to post here in order to avoid running afoul of the sales rules. Given the good cause I am hoping everyone understands a little more flexibility with this thread, if anyone has any objections please PM me, it's my doing, not the OP's. Hopefully there's an opportunity for a BreitlingSource member to get this very popular jacket and assist a great cause.

I object.

It seems that it would be difficult to win this jacket and I want one. Wish it was offered in the States.

Seriously, good cause and great looking jacket.

Guess I could bid on it and add the shipping to the States. May do that so I retract my objection.

If you win I will happily arrange postage to the US. We actually travel to the US quite often so depending on where you are might be able to save on shipping altogether!

Good luck!
