I own an older breitling wristwatch. It's dial is completely gold and has the original leather band. I've search the entire Web looking for an exact duplicate of my watch with no success. My question is does that mean it's more rare of a watch? and having a solid gold dial does that make it more valuable? Any idea what it's price range is before I go to a AD ?

Plenty of B13048s around, there aren't many with this dial because it wasn't particularly popular when new, and for that reason will probably need to be priced lower than the market to sell quickly. Incidentally it's not solid gold, it's just gold coloured. I don't do pricing but the FAQs recommend checking completed sales on eBay and dealer asking prices on Chrono24. bear in mind that it is on a calf tang strap which is the cheapest option. The B means gold rider tabs as well as rolled gold pushers and crown but that will have minimal impact on value. There are plenty of 13048s around to help you with pricing.
