Hey guys,

Im just touching base here to see if my thought is realistic. I have an Avenger Skyland with a Blue dial and its an awesome watch. My next watch was going to be a chronomat evolution, but its not realistic for me right now to have two lings. Since i can only have one, i should have got a chrono evo because i think it better suits my day to day living. In terms of trading watches, do you think id have a chance trading my AS for and evo? I know that chrono evo has a higher list price, but i imagine that its a top seller and that the market is saturated with them.

What do you think? would i have a chance? Or am i asking too much?

Thanks,

Rob

I think most are going to go dollar for dollar, AS's are not that hard to find either.

I'd guess the easiest/quickest way to make it happen is to sell your AS, top up with some extra dollars and then get the Chronomat. You can probably find someone willing to trade, with or without having to add extra dollars, but it may take some serious time to find that person.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Would 2700usd be reasonable you think? Sorry about the stupid questions.

Cheers.

Thats probably too high. Blue is less common, but I dont know if that works for you or against you. I bought my black dial a few months ago for a few hundred less. They seem to be going for a similar amount still.

$2700 seems to be about the same that I've seen watches in the sales corner on TZ go for. I'm not sure if they sell or not though. I believe one member on here was trying to sell a black dial AS awhile back in the classified section and I think he ended up getting $2200. You might find a used Evo for around $3000 and maybe you can work a trade but who knows when that will be available.

The price you are talking about here ($2,200.00), is it before or after the price increase? Brand new from AD or gently used? :?

I bought mine after the increase for about a hundred bucks more than that.

I have a Evo white dial on a pilot braclet I may be willing to trade. It is not brand new but it has had a good home. It is not a watch I wear everyday. It has all the links to the braclet. I only have a not so good photo, of the dial. I had it on a Brown strap at the time. I would perfer the AS because of the size. I like larger watches. I tried a SA on and it looked ok but just a little to big for me. The Evo was my first Breitling. I have all the boxes and the original papers, Warranty card, Chronometer cert. I purchased it from an AD in Arizona Phoenix, Jan 07. I would be happy to try to take some more pictures if you are interisted. I also have a Breitling umbrella that I would throw in, no need for one of those in Arizona.[/url]http://i326.photobucket.com/albums/k405/harnm/Oris/EVO.jpg

Is it just me or is there has some of the stenciling worn away under the applied wings in that shot?

Do you have a camera handy? Id love to see more shots.

I also have all the box and papers etc.
