Hi guys & girls,
I'm seriously debating changing my SA as I'm taking it off a lot at work to use the keyboard!!
It's a March 2011 registered and I have a friend that wants to swap for his Super Ocean, which I do like a lot.
We all know that the retail price is £1000 less for the Superocean. (Non chrono)
His watch is June 2013 registered.
What would you expect as a 'swap' price??

His is 2 years newer, maybe an even swap might be reasonable. Personally I would never trade your SA for a superocean especially if your used to a chrono, you might kick yourself after

I say go for it as long as you love the SO enough. I have an Avenger and get tired wrists after long computer days myself. I've also found myself wearing my Tag a lot more often for comfort only...
As long as you love the SO don't worry about the price difference since it is newer.
Plus resale value of it would probably be higher anyway.
The worst that happens is you miss the SA so much, you buy a preowned one later down the line for a better price.
Let us know what you decide.
