Great news for Basel 2014 from a reliable source - the Buck Rogers numbers from the Chronomats bezels are being replaced by old school number ticks, Evo Style. It seems last years hints with the Avenger line were more than a passing Brielting thought. To me, this is big news and an indication Breitling is listening, at least to sales numbers. With the redesign of the Colt and Superocean lines in the offing, this promises to be an interesting March!

Bring on the new blood!! I can't wait to see all the new releases from all companies. Exciting time of year for sure. I just hope I don't regret buying the Subc a few months before Basel. Nah, who am I kidding. I love the damn thing. Here's to good revisions coming down the pipe from Breitling. Cheers!

Pleased but not surprised, clearly sales weren't happening. There will be some people who aren't happy, but clearly not enough of them voting with their wallets.

Basel can't happen soon enough - it's been too long since people got upset with me for having opinions that they don't agree with :poke:

Notice I said "interesting," not "good." I'm quietly optimistic.

Even if the releases are less than stellar, Basel always livens the source right up!

That is great to hear!! I'm hoping this year will be much better than the many semi-skeletonized Bentley models they showed last year......

Now, if they just get rid of the dreaded square on the dial...

Damn it's about time I got something started here! And to celebrate I went old school NOS on one discontinued piece I miss most, the Cockpit. But the blue dial 13352 may be up soon - :(

Nice Cockpit, wrong dial version!

No it's not like your Target (TM) version. I like the cushion center - 'twas my first of two. The second was very nice in a "big box store" kinda way. Something about those first loves you never "quite" get over. ;)

You're (more than) old enough to remember vinyl records - that's what it really looks like, not some US retailer that is struggling to get a foothold in a country full of discerning consumers :nana:

(Hey, just trying to stir the pot a bit more).

But we can agree that both versions are the better for never having met Buck Rogers.
