I was thinking back today and out of all the different watches and brands I've owned in the past, none have ever had as good AR as Breitling, the way it's purple hue changes the dial color is really mesmerizing, especially against the black or dark blue dial. Another reason why a Breitling is one of the best!! Image

I always remember the first time I tried on a Breitling and I actually thought there was no crystal in it! Breitling certainly do AR very well indeed.

Exactly the same experience. I remember unpacking it in a brightly lit window seat and, for a half-second, thinking, "I don't ruddy believe it, the crystal has fallen out in the post"...

I had this exact experience just this weekend. I was staring at my Navitimer and was suddenly struck by the fact that there was no evidence of the crystal whatsoever!

Agreed, it's so clear it takes some getting used to. And nice watch Matt! Didn't take you very long to get a breitling back in your collection.

I often find myself thinking the same thing with my Navi. I've actually worried I might accidentally touch the hands on occasion.

My dear departed Headwind was the best I have had in terms of the crystal just "disappearing". My present Breitling has a slightly domed crystal which I enjoy for this:

I couldn't agree more, that is the favorite part of any breitling . I can even see that purple blue film when my watch is on my nightstand with only a bit of light from the tv.
Oh and nice pick up BTW.

Flipped my whole collection basically for the AP, now I'm basically starting over again.
