Just received my brand new Breitling Superocean Abyss Chrono and it seems to be OK.

I like it.

One odd thing, while adjusting the band upon unscrewing several screws the screws were rusty. :wowzers :shock:

Not the screw heads, but the threaded parts were rusty. Uhhh this watch is suppose to be able to get wet.

Really, for this kind of money I got rusty screws?? :shock:

Are you sure it's rust and not Loctite?

Standard thread lock on breitling screws is a reddy brown colour
