Hi, im considering getting the new Avenger II Chrono 43mm, but there arent many real life pictures of it. And my AD here in Mexico dont have any of the new models in stock.

Are these pieces delayed in hitting the AD's or just not many people have bought them? Do you have the thickness of it or any info of how it wears on the wrist? any input would be greatly appreciated.

If you have real life pictures please share!

Thanks a lot guys,

My best regards,

Jorge.

Oh and I forgot, any info on the estimated retail price?

They should be out now. I saw one at my area AD last week. They are a nice looking piece, but with a thickness of 16.5mm just to bulky for me. Retail in the US is $5550 on bracelet.

Sorry, no real life pics.

Found some from a earlier post:

Thanks for the reply Kodiak, did you compare it to the chronomat 44? according to breitling website the avenger ii chrono is 16.5mm thick and the chronomat 44 is 16.95mm. Have any info of how it wears compared to the chronomat? Im really diggin' this timepiece!

Thanks!

I would be happy to take a few pictures of it later this afternoon for you side by side with an avenger chrono 1 as well as a chronomat 44.
What I can say is that the avenger does "feel" beefier on the wrist as it is more squared off and the chronomat has a slightly tapered overall shape.

Thanks a lot Nix! That would be awesome! Im torn between a Chronomat 44 and the new Avenger II. So hard to decide, until the Avenger II is available in my AD pictures like yours would be extremely helpful :)

I did not directly compare it to the chronomat 44. Since both these designs are a bit big for me I didn't try them on. But... looking at them in general the Avenger II seemed to be a bit more aggressive in it's appearance than the Chronomat 44... if that makes sense.

Nixmazda may be able to shed some light on this with comparative pics.

Good luck with your decision!

I can chime in briefly

I previously owned the chronomat 44, and tried on the avenger 2 Chrono.

I like the chronomat 44, but did not like the avenger 2. The avenger seems to wear taller for whatever reason and felt bulkier.

I presently have the avenger I I GMT , which I really like in terms of size height and thickness
