After much searching (and saving up) I finally picked up the watch I've always wanted. Was being sold through my AD on behalf of a customer and I guess I was just in the right place at the right time. Before they would let me take it, it was sent off to BUK for service and overhaul at their cost. Came back looking like new (mind you, it took almost 12 weeks but that did include the Christmas period). Well worth the wait, couldn't be happier. Came with everything, even the original hang tag.... And of course it's in the best colour. 8)

You are right. Best colour dial for the emergency IMHO. Nice they did an overhaul at no extra cost to you. Enjoy the ownership.

Great watch !!
Works really well with a black Nato as well but then you need to leave the UTC at home. Fitting a Nato to a UTC-ed Emergency is next to impossible unfortunately !

Not a problem for me as I don't have a UTC....

I enjoyed reading your purchase thread also, nice story.

Looks like grey sweaters are "in" this season :-)

Fantastic! The coral dial is really the best. I have only ever seen on Emergency in the wild, and was quite impressed.
