So... I wake up this morning to my BB's minute hand jumping when the chronograph is pressed. Now the icing on the cake is that my rotating bezel is stuck like someone superglued it! Wtf!? This watch has been babied since day one and has never been dropped. I'm at a loss for words. ![]() |

That sucks man. Sounds like it's going to need service. There is no way the watch was dropped or anything maybe? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

There's always a tendency for lever actuated chronographs to jump, especially with a horizontal clutch which is what we are generally dealing with with ETA. That said, if yours has only just started doing it then something must have changed in the movement and if it's the minute hand specifically then it may be something that is preventing the chrono from resetting properly - dirt maybe. It's not going to fix itself so you know what's in your future...... |

100% not dropped. It lives in a watch box or on my wrist. The sad part is that the watch was fully serviced about 5 months back. Once again I am at a loss for words on this one. |

Well at least you still have the service warranty. It's not a problem that would indicate a regular service need - something is causing the jump to occur beyond just a loss of lubrication. |

The warranty will definitely cover whats wrong, hopefully it works out for you and won't take long to get serviced. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

What about the stuck bezel? How can this happen? It is more annoying than anything, I hate sending it out for repair cause you never know how long till you get it back. I need a drink. |

It does suck having to send out a piece, especially Dianne you recently sent it out for service, but the plus side is you have some nice watches to wear in the meantime, and your Blackbird will be minty when you get it back. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Just send it in and enjoy the IWC in the meantime. Goodluck |

Bezel sticking is going to be coincidental if the watch didn't go through a drop or similar, could be dirt or something under there. |

About the bezel... Wasnt dropped unless my 6 month old climbed out of his crib and had a field day while I was at work. |
