or at least get you close to the edge? I've been trying to talk myself into the new stratus silver dial Super Avenger II for a few days and just could not get there. I have no way to see one in person, hate the stock pics, most real pics have me on the fence, but finally this one I think will push me over. I guess you could say my confidence isn't too great because I'm selling my Seawolf to do it, but won't part with that one until the SA arrives. I just don't like the idea of possibly liking the Seawolf better and then having to deal with the SA. There is several reasons the SA works better for me, I just wish they would have stuck with the white dial because that's the only change I am not sure about. But as I said I'm diggin this particular pic.

I will warn you that the new dial is definitively more cream color than that pic shows.

hmmm... I was hoping that was a fairly accurate representation given the picture was close and clear. On the other hand the Steelfish I had did grow on me, and it sounds like this dial is probably very close to that. What's funny is I had a dealer tell me it's quite a bit lighter than the Steelfish cream dial, so not only am I seeing variations, I'm hearing it too! I very well might bail and go for an older version, but that has me thinking why didn't i do that years ago!

Just when I changed my mind to go old school and get a while dial. :D I'm 100% confident I will like it and will let me move my Seawolf right away as part of the deal... so probably the best choice. I still would like to see the SA2 in person, just don't want to risk buying new and it not singing to me.

...but I have to admit I am still thinking!

I have an Arabic dial in black, blue and white dial and the baton dial in black, blue and white this is different being off white/cream but also will have to see in person before making the purchase

I didn't like the color from the picture on the Breitling website, but that picture actually does look pretty good!

That's what makes it difficult, because obviously the real pic is what should be trusted, and it does look good, but knowing it's off white really makes me wonder if maybe the pic is better than the in person view. I still might take a shot, and if it doesn't work out just switch it up by Summer.

I'm thinking that it's going to look different depending on the lighting. I'm going to an AD in Foxwoods next weekend I'm going to check one out for myself.

I believe that too. Here it is a little darker, and just this slight difference and it starts to lose me, and that is the concern I have about it in person. I suspect the range is between the top pic and this one depending on the light.

It actually looks not bad right there, kind of makes the subdials pop a bit more. Looks ok to me, I'm also thinking that the changing contrast would make for a pretty cool effect. Looking foward to seeing one in person.

The subs are the same light as the first pic. (I pasted them on the darker dial) But I do agree, the darker the dial the more it would create a better contrast.
