On another forum I had a reply about the cream SAII vs old white dial saying they preferred the white one, but in that response he also said the blue SAII dial is better than the previous. The blue SAII is actually what got me looking at buying another Super Avenger again, but I had a blue before and that particular dial did end up growing on me some, but was also part of the reason I sold it in the end. Now if this dial is a bit darker, and like I would expect for mariner blue, I'm sold! I would actually be happy with every change because I like the bezel better, bracelet just as well, much prefer silver subs with batons, and a little lower profile and wearing closer to my 6.75 ain't bad either! So has anyone seen the blue in person who is very familiar with the previous model? Like the cream SAII some of the stock pictures look terrible, but the actual ones good, and some for the blue really good. I hope I can get a sense of how the new blue compares to the old because as my subject line says I am indeed ready to pull the trigger.

Have not seen the SA 2 blue dial yet, I do have a blue baton dial super avenger and a blue Arabic dial super avenger the two I have are both different shades do blue, I'm curious myself if the SA 2 if totally different from the two I have, very hard to tell from pics,like you said. hmmm... I never knew that about the other two. I find the older ones, at least the arabic which I had can appear to have a dark blue dial in some pictures, but is quite different in normal light. My gut is the SA II has that darker blue in normal light, but there's a little part of me that's concerned that maybe it's just some great pics I'm seeing and won't be what I expect. I'm waiting to see if the person replies who said they like it better.

But my opinion will be the 2nd, and more just a confirmation because I just got this message on another forum.

"The blue dial on the old one is more of a dull blue where the new is more of a bright/metallic blue. I saw the two side by side at local retailer and you could really see difference."

If I make another SA purchase it will probably be the silver/off white one, seeing I already have 2 blue ones. Good luck man with your choice

I still think that one could be pretty decent, and after a year if i'm not in love with the blue I might give it a try. Speaking of the blue, the shipping said overnight but was sent economy, so should be here Thursday, assuming it has cleared customs which it appears to have done.
