Hello, I'm new here and was looking for some opinions. I am going to purchase a new ASW II and can't make up my mind between the Tungsten Grey or the Cobra Yellow, both with the polished numerals. I'm 52 and this is going to be my second B'ling. My other B'ling is a Colt Chrono with the blue face and silver sub dials. I love the yellow but I'm afraid it might be a little loud for my age, especially a few years from now. I also love the grey but afraid the polished numbers might disappear into the face. Any first hand opinions with these two models ?

Thanks John

I agree with yellow on Pro II. It's a massive piece, BTW. I had one for a few years.

Go with the blue. It looks classiest and presents maturity. The yellow model looks like it belongs on the wrist of a clown. By any chance, did Breitling introduce the yellow one on April 1st?

They are both singing to me….but I think the Grey is singing louder!! I also tried on an Avenger chrono in grey with the silver sub dials and loved that one also, but I already have a Colt chrono with the all polished finish and wanted something different with the brushed satin like on the Seawolf. This can definitely become addicting. :lingsrock:

I had a Seawolf 1 with the grey dial, and I loved it. I too though that the yellow was nice, however the grey looks great and goes with everything. But I'm sure whichever you choose in the end will be a great choice.

I had a yellow M1 once, wore it rarely....and I'm aged mid thirties. Although yellow is a signature color, for those in the know. I feel that it is less versatile and can prove difficult to sell on.

Absolutely love my SW1 with yellow dial. Never yet found it a problem to wear, and it often attracts some complementary comments when I wear it 'suited and booted'. It has a presence that I felt a grey or black dial didn't have. However, I also love my SuperOcean with a black dial, but if I want to make a statement, it's the yellow Seawolf that gets taken out of the winder.

Find I wear my Aerospaces much less these days, although my Avantage/Co-Pilot gets worn in the cockpit, I tend to wear one of the SS cased watches when I go out. Find it's hard to leave the SW in the winder to be honest.
