Hi all

Where is the best place to get a pilot bracelet for my chronomat (I am located in Manchester, England). The current strap has 20-18 on the reverse - so which size bracelet is needed???

Any help / advice would be great

Thanks

20-18 Pilot bracelet is reference 300A, but you'll also need to make sure that it has the correct end links for the original Chronomat, sorry I don't know what the code for those is. The current Chronomat is 22mm, so they'll be a different code.

In terms of best place to get them, generally the AD is as good a place as any for bracelets, occasionally get a deal at a grey market dealer or on the Bay, but availability is going to be the problem with this one so I would just go to an AD.

Yep Roff is absolutely correct - unless you are VERY lucky on the Bay then an AD is by far and away your best bet...... and bizarrely enough an AD may actually be cheaper that some of the on-line retailers!

And just for info, the 20-18 that you see on the back of your strap refers to it being 20mm at the watch-head end and 18mm at the clasp. BUT, as Roff said, not every Pilot bracelet with 20mm end links will fit - you have to get the bracelet that is specific to your watch - again your AD will be able to assist with the right codes unless someone on here with a similar model comes up with the goods.
