How does the bezel hold up on the heritage models over time? Has anyone experienced fading..etc?

My wife has a 38mm SOH as a beater watch and has had no issues with colour fade. The bezel has become pretty scratched, but it still retains it's colour (i.e. the scratches don't show 'bare' metal).

Thank you! Scratches are pretty much unevoidable.. Do you think this material scratches easier then a regular steel bezel?

Can't really speak directly as it's my wife's watch, but it does appear to have a few more scratches than the rest of the watch, but of course it is also more exposed.

Does she wear a bracelet next to it as well? My mom and sister do that and it makes me cringe...

Nope, no bracelet, but it does get used and abused with dogs - the toe nail of a 170lb dog is the deadliest weapon known to man!

Was told it's anodized aluminum. Over time it will fade, but I suspect by then other things would have happened to it sufficient to warrant a replacement at the appropriate service interval.

I have the 125th anniversary model with the white face and the black bezel. I wear it almost daily and it hasn't faded or even scratched. In fact Im looking at adding another one down the road as I like it that much.

Although I am careful with my watches, mine still looks like new.

That's good to know as an owner. I reported what my AD told me but perhaps he isn't as versed in the matter :D
