Dear Mates,
I'd like to know all your opinions about what's in the 2014 pipeline among my wishes in connection with new Breitling models, I mean are there real chances for any of these?

1. -Chronomat 41 getting a day-date feature, or
2. -Chronomat 41 getting a simple full calendar complication (like Valjoux 72C or the 7751in the Datora dial layout), or
3. -Chronomat 41 getting a "big date" complication at 12, possibly with a weekday feature by a hand at 6, like that of the Eberhard 120 years edition.
4. -Chronomat 41 (and maybe other B01-based watches) getting a vertical date window, either on the same place, like on the Valjoux 7740-based Navis, or placed at 6, thus getting a nicer dial and jumping away from the El Primero feeling and some modified 7750 feelings.
5. -Chronomat 41 steel bezel having the same "easy-grip" edge like that of the SOH series, leaving out the 4 rider tabs.

6. -Montbrillant B01 (40 mm) getting the same simple full calendar complication of the Valjoux 72C, steel model either with a cream or with a blue or black dial, maybe cream dial with yellow or red gold hour markers and hands

7. -SOHC coming in a "normal size" too (I mean 40-42 mm), with either a day-date B13 or a B01 with the mentioned complications, possibly with ceramic bezel with lume dot at 60

8. -Chrono SuperOcean having a day-date again, like the previous series had.
9. -Chrono SuperOceans having again either a ceramic or a sapphyre bezel, with lume dot at 60

10. -All the B01-s upgraded with balance bridge instead of the balance cock, with micro adjustment feature directly on the balance wheel, and with silicone parts on places where it is possible (hairspring, balance wheel, anchor, anchor-wheel)
11. -B01-s coming with an optional fly-back feature (mostly at the Chronomat 41 for me...)
12. -B01-s with glass case back even for non-limited series

13. -all the steel bracelets should have the double-pusher micro-adjust clasp of the Oceane Racer strap (I made the upgrades on both Pilot and ProII. with my watchmaker and they are really fantastic!)

Sorry for writing so much and going into details, it's only a guesswork - of course about my wishes, maybe others too. Hope Breitling/Grenchen is listening too... :)

Happy 2014 to all of you!

Best regards,
Robert

I think that #13 is the most likely. Less stock for them to make and keep on hand.

I'm really interested in what's coming instead of the chronospace. Something similar to B-1? Airwolf?

I know for certain that the Colt family is being fully redone, which will be nice! Perhaps it will again have a proper Breitling bracelet

Not surprised.

No, Breitling really heard it from the dealer network that the redesigned Colt was a total miss. Traditional Breitling stubbornness giving way to economic reality at last!

Exactly. Hence the reason I am not surprised. More like "About time!"

Will they finally surrender on the rubber bezel inserts. If they are listening to their dealers as Roff suggested, I know the dealers are equally upset with the SO Abyss and SO44. They just don't sell anywhere close to the old SO and Steelfish. My ADs are very frustrated.

I hope so. While we won't get sales numbers until the COSC reports next August / September I am told that 2013 sales still aren't coming back as strongly as other brands so let's hope that message is being heard.
