Thinking about pulling the trigger on a new watch.

It is currently between the below and I was wondering everyone's thoughts about the pros and cons. I wanted to pick everyone's brain.
I do know these 3 choices are wry far apart and all over the place.

Breitling for Bentley 6.75
Royal Ebony dial with the "see thru" dial
On rubber with deployment clasp

PO 9300 orange bezel with steel bracelet

Chronomat GMT black dial on steel bracelet.

I know they are all completely different watches with size difference, looks, attitude and all.

I do own 2 SAs so I do like a big bold watch. But there is something about the PO that makes me want to snatch it up. The GMT isn't much smaller than the 6.75 so was wondering the thoughts about the pros and cons of either of them. Hard to get over the 45.5mm case of the PO as the size is a bit smaller than what I am used to.

Basically be worn with a suit and or business casual on a daily basis. The size of the 6.75 under my shirt isn't an issue as I wear French cuff shirts that are larger on the left hand.

What are the advantages/disadvantages of one movement over the other? Is one movement more reliable than the other?

Thanks! I do love my Chronomat, but the other choices are very nice too. I've owned a POC and it was a great watch, and I want to add a 6.75 in the future because I love the big date, and the fact it's a bigger watch than the blackbird.

Exactly. The 6.75 is definitely a bold statement. Which is the what I love about it.

My take on it is that the 2 SAs are similar to the Chronomat in many ways. OK, they are completely different if you are a fan of the Chronomat, but realistically they are very similar.

The PO is a very creditable Omega. I still prefer the Speedie, but each to their own and as this is your choice, go for it.

The Bentley is definitely different. The counter rotating slide rule and that big, big presence. I love it. Definitely different to the PO.

So its either the PO or the Bentley.

I really like the PO chrono. I think it would be a nice change up in your collection since you have 2 breitling chronographs already. The PO would be very different from your 2 current ones with the orange bezel and only 2 subdials. It's too big/thick for me to pull off, but I love the look of the watch and that would be my choice if I could wear it. I like the chronomat GMT 2nd and the open cutout Bentley is a distant 3rd as I don't think the cutouts look good on this watch.

Sell one of your SAs, then buy the Chronomat GMT and the PO.

The Chronomat GMT or the PO Chrono.

I'm not remotely a fan of the new Bentleys : they just seem far too bling and "over-styled" now.

The PO Chrono is a truly great watch, but it's a little disproportionately thick for it's width IMO. Still a superb watch though.

If it was my money I'd go with the Chronomat 44 GMT as I found the 47mm version too long in the lugs when I tried it on, which made it seem a little clumsy to me.... and that is not what a Chronomat should be IMO. The 44 is perfect for me.... but then it's not my cash. But yes, the GMT would be my first and my only choice amongst your options.

I do intend to trade one of my SAs as a to the seller. I am trading my Black Dial SA as it has the smaller wings compared to my white baton dial and doesn't get any wrist time at all.

I wish I could get both. Frankly wish I could get all 3 and call it day. That just isn't in the cards.

I did find the PO a bit thick especially for the dial only being 45.5mm. In regards to the GMT I actually find the 44mm verizon to small for me. I do like a bigger dialed watch and if I do go with the GMT It would be the 47mm version. I did try the 47mm on about 4 months ago and didn't notice the lugs being to long. But it gives me an excuse to go try one on again just to make sure. :)

I think that is why I like the 6.75 so much it is just so over the top. It could be hiding under a shirt cuff all day and then all of of a sudden BANG!!. Hello Bentley!!

If you like your big watches then the 47's lugs may be fine for you.

A lot depends on wrist shape as well as wrist size. My wrists are around 7.75" and I do like larger watches myself (I have a couple of Bentley's an SA and a Navi World), but the GMT 47's lugs were a little too long to be ideal for me.

My wrist is about the same size however when I did try it on it was on the first day of my Honeymoon and I was not prepared to see a Breitling AD on the ship. Trust me I looked to make sure there wasn't one so there was no temptation. I was as giddy as a schoolgirl when my wife and I were walking around and saw it. It was also located next to my favorite bar on the whole ship so that made matters worse being that I was always around it. So naturally I tried it over and over again for the next 3 days. I couldn't believe the price on it (25% without negotiation). I honestly didn't pay to much attention to the lugs as that black dial was just staring back at me saying buy me! I ended up not pulling the trigger on the GMT and getting a White Baton SA (for 45% off and a bottle Johnny Blue for my troubles). I figured one day I would go back around to the GMT, until the saw the PO 9300 in person and that new Ghost Black dial on the 6.75. Tough choices we live with. :) :)

Frankly speaking Chronomat GMT is somewhat similar looking to yr SA so since you only intend to get one after selling one of yr SA, the PO or Bentley seems something different aesthetically compared to what you have. PO is different style plus different brand so variation wise PO seems the best choice.

But if I were you I would get the Chronomat GMT, especially Matt's version. Simply because I like that the most among yr 3 options. Maybe the excuse you can give yourself is in-house movement plus Sapphire caseback(if you are taking the LE) which you don't have on yr SA yet:)

This is all true. I do have some food for thought now. This is going to be a tough decision. Thanks as always for the input.
