Hello Breitling lovers! :lingsrock:

So I've had quite a few watches over the years (I'm only 20 years old). My passion started way back in 2009. I've done the whole Rolex thing, but I've always come back to Breitling

In January of next year I plan on buying either the Super Avenger II with Black Arabic Dial on the Prof III Bracelet, or the new Aerospace Evo... I'm going to post up a few images of my watches, and I would like you to advise me on what piece you think I should get next :) :) :D :D :D

Hi Dino

You are a damn rich young chap! Where did all the money come from?! Based on your pic above, I think you look best with your Sub and your Chronomat 44 with blue dial. Erm...perharps not that datejust as of now and it should look better on you 20 years later. Just my two cents though.

Anyway IMHO you don't really have a versatile collection although you own a quite a couple of pieces because some of them are the even the same model with just different combo. While I understand that you just buy whatever appeals to you, it will be good to get something that can help create more versatility in your collection so that you can have more choices for different occasions. SA is a nice piece but IMO it looks similar to whatever you already have so perharps you might wanna consider giving it a miss. You already have quartz in your collection so IMO not necessary to have more of that.

If you are looking at getting a Ling for your next purchase, my recommendation will be a Navi 01 or Navi Cosmonaute. Even though you will have no use for that slide rule bezel, this is one iconic piece that you cannot miss if you are a Breitling lover. It looks very different from those you already have so that helps create more versatility in your collection. Get one with the pilot bracelet as you already have a leather strap that you can change to. If you are willing to go for other brands, you can also consider a PAM, which I think should look good on you and also somewhat different from what you already have in your collection. You can consider choosing a manual winding piece which you do not have yet. I notice that you lack a dress watch in your collection. Many of the pieces you have can compliment a formal attire but you might wanna consider a dress watch for the versatility. But where dress watches are concerned, it really depends on your budget. A PP Calatrava is one nice ultimate choice where dress watches are concerned. But I personally recommend a Piaget Altiplano. Looks extremely refined, extremely flat, totally different from what you have in your collection. Fits easily under your cuff. But I guess you might not like dress watches?

Hope my two cents gives you some idea of what to get and odd post photos of your new baby after you get it.

Does dad know you borrowed his watches? Lol kidding! I say you go big dog and put an 18k Unitime Pilot on your wrist. That would be game/set/match at your age and for your style

Thank you so much for you detailed in depth answer to my question, I appreciate you taking the time to post!

I have more watches in my collection such as a planet ocean and Rolex GMTIIc, Super Ocean Heritage 46 and Steelfish and a few others which I couldn't find photos of. I am leaning towards the SA II because of its SIZE!!! That's one thing that I think my watches are lacking, and that's SIZE

I have bought and paid for every single one of my watches with my own made money.

I have done the RG thing many of times...

Reads a bit more like a 'hey look at my watches aren't they great' post rather than a request for advice, so Super Avenger is probably the watch that best matches that personality, perhaps with diamonds.

If Breitling is your forte then you are definitely missing the Navi.
As Chronomat01LE said above, you can put it on steel and/or leather and it will always look great.

Another serious contender is the Transocean Chrono.

Dino,

Very nice collection, but it does look very narrow from the pictures and signature list. You need a Casio G-Shock that shows some wilderness/sport usage - scratches and dings. Your Emergencys look like they've never been "at risk". To broaden your collection, buy a tool watch and use it for its intended purpose!!! :poke:

Well, glad someone saw through the subtlety. Really not sure what else to offer - OP works in a jeweller in the UK according to his profile but has a big wad of US$ rather obviously hanging out of his pocket, has a huge designer belt buckle and a t-shirt with a huge designer name on it. I didn't really think that he was going for the understated elegance look.

I'm gonna take a shot and say that all those watches are from the "inventory" more so than from his personal collection. I agree with Roff on this one... Perhaps a black dial would go compliment your Mike Tyson tribal nicely.

How about a diamond-works Chronomat?
