Has anyone seen either of these in person? I didn't even know these were offered with the rubber inserts on the bezel.

Not seen the FF with the rubber inserts before. I like the look but the durability of the inserts worries me. That's what put me off the Frecce Tricolori.

Looks great, but I could never own a watch with rubber inserts. They should have done ceramic inserts!!

That's on all of the current Chronomats / Galactics.

I don't think it's a "New Flying Fish" but they just simply mix and match the bezel with the dial and red Sec hand to create more variations. Go to any boutique and you will see many different variations that you don't find in their regular range. I think they are just trying to create more combos to accommodate to different tastes, not a move that I like. That's the only thing I hate about the Chronomat 44 as there too many variations available. I would prefer that they adopt the same move like the Navi. Just one combo other than the LEs. Makes it more iconic. I even saw in one of the ADs that they fixed a Buck Rogers bezel on the Chronomat Evolution:(

I like the first one posted; black eye gray. The "square" isn't that visible and the black sub dials, red chrono hand, and rubber inserts give it some character. I agree with Driver8 about the durability.

That is now the new Flying Fish according to Breitling web site.
Two options, onyx black and black eye blue dials, both with rubber bezel inserts.
Anything else at the ADs will be old stock.

Ya just went to see it. So which means the old version is discontinued.
