Hi all, I have received my Breitling after a long wait of sending it off for service, authenticity check etc. It is in fantastic condition. However, I didn't receive a 'maual' for the watch and I am wondering how to change the date and also how the other functions on the watch operate. Is there somewhere I can go to get a manual - I have read changing the date can be detrimental to the watch if it is not done properly? Many thanks in advance! |

Many watch operations are listed on the Breitling Website. Might not be as good as the manual in your hand but the instructions on use are more or less what the manual indicate. http://www.breitling.com/en/service/user-manuals/ |

Check out the link from Jim, and yours would be the same as the Seawolf Chrono Blacksteel. Same watch in a different body. Don't worry about date changing since you have a quartz movement. That is only a concern for automatic or mechanical movements. best of luck and congrats on a great piece of gear. |

Thanks for all your comments - 1 last question, when I pop the crown out once, should the date change when I turn the crown?? |

That allows only the hour hand to move, forward or backwards. The selling feature is you can make easy time zone/date changes on the fly, without affecting the minutes and seconds. I use that to adjust the date by one or two days by advancing past 12AM. It would be tedious for more days, but I'm too lazy to look for my manual to see if there is a faster way. My M1 keeps amazing time. |
