Post subject:  What's a fair value for my Chrono SuperOcean?

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I am looking for some advice from Breitling enthusiasts on a fair value for my Chrono SuperOcean.
This is a discontinued model and I put it up for sale right after a major maintenance from Breitling. They also repolished the whole watch and look as new. I bought it new in 2007 from Tourneau Las Vegas.

What would be a fair price for that watch? Thanks for your help.

Taken from the FAQs on this site:

I want to sell my watch, so what's it worth?
The easiest way is to check completed listings on eBay and look for prices shown in green. These are prices that watches actually sold for (i.e. a true market price) instead of prices that sellers are asking. There's often a very big difference! Additionally, live auctions on eBay, plus sites like Chrono24.com, and sales sections on watch forums, can give an indication of prices being asked. Obviously these should be treated as a guide as sometimes watches sell for considerably more or less than they should, but these resources should give you a pretty good idea of possible asking prices.

Thanks.
I did check ebay and because it is discontinued, there are almost no watch for sale. The one I saw is 4000$ but is new...

Kinda hard to figure what is a fair price.

Same here. My favourite watch, I have the black faced model and when funds permit will be seeking out the blue and white faced ones. I guess Breitling feel that the Avenger models replace the CSO but for me they are too big for my wrist and I really like the 42mm size of the CSO plus the fact it has the additional day complication. A future classic in my view.

Agreed. Also, the rubber bezel version does not even compare.

Totally agree. I really love the size of CSO. Everything about that model was perfect.

I've been wanting to add the cso to my collection for a while, that's going to be my next piece. There are a few good examples on eBay usually, not the ones with the diamond bezels either. I'd love a white dial.
