Perhaps this comes down to personal taste I I did not really worry about it with my old TAG.

However, as my new Skyland is significantly more heavier than my old watch, it does tend to wobble round (even just a little).

I've played around with the sizzing but was wondering if there is some common rule.

My new setting (from about 10 minutes ago) allows my to just be able to place my small pinky through the band. The band being the high polished steel. Is this about right as my watch can move a little but not as much obviously as my previous setting which would allow me to place a finger through it and it would move around when my hand was on the desk, keyboard etc etc.

Simple question, probably stupid but important non the same....

I prefer mine quite tight. I hate when my watch wobbles up and down and spins around the wrist. I guess they are similar to yours, I can get my finger in under the bracelet (just), but not more. Any tighter than that will be uncomfortable, especially through the afternoon as my wrists seem to swell during the day.

I do think it is a matter of taste, and I would suggest giving it a couple of "test rides" in different positions to see what you like best. I wore a TAG before I got a Ling and I liked the TAG looser, whereas I prefer the Ling tighter. I think this has a lot to do with the size difference. The nice thing is that nothing in this respect is permanent :)

I like mine where you can stick your pinky finger in between your wrist and the buckle.

I prefer my watch -- no matter what brand or model -- to
be a little looser. Maybe because I've got such a fat wrist( )
I find that before the day is over, my wrist has swelled and
the watch has become too tight. So here's a "cheers" to all
the fat guys out there who like loose-fitting timepieces. :)

Yep, same for me little finger between the strap and wrist, that's when my wrist is hot, if I'm in a cooler place it's looser but not enough to worry about. I've found the trick with a rubber strap is not to have that so tight, I can probably get a couple of fingers between the strap and wrist and I find the rubber itself seems to hold it in place.

about as tight as others have posted i guess, i can shove a pinky through. i like my watches to fit tightly in general. basically as tight as possible without being uncomfortable.

With heavier watches like Breitlings (well, not ALL breitlings, but most) I prefer them tighter so they don't sag and look sloppy. However, when I wear my lighter smaller watches such as my IWC Ingenieur Titanium I like it looser.

I'm another one who likes them fairly tight, as I hate the feeling of a loose watch spinning round my wrist. Pinky between the strap and my wrist is the general rule of thumb.

I dont like mine too tight. I get a claustrophobic feeling (im actually kind of getting that feeling right now, just thinking about it).. I dont like it too loose though..somewhere in between. I can easily fir my index finger in, and usually another finger as well.

I guess I would say fairly tight - don't like it when the head moves too much towards the top of my wrist or if it falls forward on to the crown when I'm walking.

Tight aswell with my emergency mission.
Problem is my wrist like some of those posted, swells and shrinks.
Tends to do it all the time.

Pinky for me also, allows some swell.

Wow thanks for the responses.............seems that the pinky is the trick.....in fact, since posting this yesterday I have been experimenting on the size as some have now suggested......I've had the buckle in 3 different positions rather then adding a few buckles etc.....

I now too also find a pinky in between the bickle and the wrist seems to do the trick and like most have already mentioned, yes my wrists also swell a little in the afternoon and now with summer on the way in Australia, hopefully this setting will be fine as I'd rather not fiddle with it anymore....(just in case the spring goes etc ).......
