For 3 years I have been walking past my local AD (Banks Lyons in Lancaster) trying to decide which watch to buy. 18 months ago I decided it had to be a Breitling.....but which one? I really fancied a Navitimer but I don't fly aeroplanes but I do get wet. Then I found this site and after much reading and gazing I decided on an Avenger II with the professional 3 bracelet. They had none in stock so had to wait 7 weeks (exactly what BL said). I shan't be buying another watch so this is it. I love it. Quality and a joy to look at and use. Not really necessary, and a bit like overkill when I originally started out just looking for a watch with a second hand, but hey... Have to give a plug for Banks Lyons. Superb service. I know you all like pictures so I'll post some when the weather is better. It is persisting down at the moment and anyway it's 2330 zulu here and I'm in bed. Greywolf |
