I have been offered a Breitling Bentley Motors T A25365 and I'm a little at sea on it.
I've been asked to make an offer but there is blessed little to go on as far as prices go on used models.
The watch in question is in very nice condition, with the white dial and dark brown strap on a deployant, but I am concerned about wear on the machined bezel. On virtually any other watch the bezel could be refinished, but the pattern on this watch's bezel is unique and, I would guess, impossible to reproduce.
I'd hate to make an offer and find out that replacement of the bezel would be prohibitive; if the watch had to go to Breitling for the bezel I'm sure they'd insist on a service whether it was needed or not.
Any thoughts?
Thank you . . .
