I absolutely love the dial on this watch. One great thing about the Chronomat is the variety you have to choose from with this watch.

Hi, crod. Either of the pieces look absolutely terrific on an 8" wrist I assure you. The Skyland is just a bit larger (45mm dia, 17.4mm thick, 144.3 grams wt.) compared to the Chronomat (43.7mm dia, 17.1mm thick, 120 grams wt.) but both are well suited for your wrist. Both pieces are perfectly detailed and built. Although I own a slate dial Chronomat, I would love to have a black dial Avenger Skyland also. In my opinion, the Skyland does offer more "bang for the buck" in terms of pricing. At this time, it is $4,550 USD on Pro II bracelet compared to $5,840 USD for the Chronomat on Pilot bracelet. As I'm sure you already know, the Skyland only offers black, blue or slate dials whereas the Chronomat offers white, silver, graphite, slate, blue, black, red, so forth and so on... In any case, here is a pic of my Chronomat. Not a white dial but you might enjoy seeing the slate to compare with a slate or black Skyland. :)
Cheers,
Ron
