Any one has wrist shots to share? If your wrist size is around 6.5", does it look just right or still too small? |

Why would you get a 38 when there is 46? |

My wife has a 38, her wrist is just under 6", but it's a good look - I'll try and chase her around with a camera next time she has it on. I have a really hard time with this current trend to wear huge watches all the time - I have large pieces, and I have small pieces - different watches for different occasions. My wrists are around 8" and I wear sub 40mm watches - with older watches you don't have much choice. I have never had anyone suggest that a watch looks too small on me - wear the one you want and don't get caught up in the hype that anything under 46mm is 'too small'. |

But it's true Roff! ![]() No, in all seriousness, it's all down to personal preference... as with all things watch related. The single most important thing is that people buy what THEY are happy with. If people like the "smaller" watches then that's great : if people like the "bigger" watches then that's great too. The only thing to remember is not to be swayed by the opinions of others. I personally was against the SA for a long time (in the face of popular opinion on here I might add!) because when I first tried it I thought it was too big for me. However, when I had chance to try it again a couple of years later it fitted me fine. Now whether that was a change in my perception, or whether I've just got fatter wrists over time (a distinct possibility!) I don't know, but I only ended up buying one because I liked it, not because anyone else told me it was "cool". (To be honest I was throughly expecting to still NOT like it at the time!) The same goes for the bracelet vs strap argument - there's no right or wrong answer, just buy what YOU like. |

Thanks. I'm exactly as you guys said. small or large is not a BIG issue as long as I like the way the watch being worn on my wrist. However, my local AD does not have the 38 but 46. I prefer the small seconc on the 38. Why doesn't Breitling make a 40-42 with small second subdial? Again, any wrist shot?? |
