LOL - perhaps he would like to make a donation to the watch fund in lieu of asking permission. |

Watch Snob may have a bit of a taste in watches having picked Fred's photo for his article. He has however no respect for personal property, again having picked Fred's photo for his article, without asking for permission apparently. Having said that, I'm of he opinion that whatever I publish anywhere on the Internet (including public forums like this) becomes public property. |

I have a few templates on my company website that I made available for people in PDF format and offered to people in editable Office format in exchange for them signing a waiver. In looking through the web logs for my site a while back I found a lot of referring sites that made no sense and they turned out to be sites that just consolidated templates and similar items from around the web and made them available to their site visitors as their own - and we aren't talking just Chinese / Russian sites either. I ended up having to put a big note over the PDF version with contact details for the full version so that at least people would know who owned the intellectual property. I would also say that only about 50% of the references / reprints / quotes of my writing that are available online are used with permission! |

Although he may not admit he likes Breitling. Maybe vintage, but not the contemporary stuff. ![]() |

Some ironic twists in that the article included a discussion backhanding Breitlings and suggesting a JLC, with the pic showing a beautiful vintage Breitling, which, to me, anyway, looks a lot like the Tribute to Deep Sea Chrono except, of course, that the piece is a 24 hour watch, a Breitling fixture. In the end, it all confirms that it's a fantastic piece (the watch, that is) and Fred takes fantastic photos. |
