http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-23983717 The BBC news report is fairly brief. Was anything taken? The story says the alleged culprits are charged with conspiracy to rob in connection with the incident, but not theft. Anyone have the inside scoop? dams-r-us |

In most criminal cases, if the theft of an item was not completed (taking, stealing item, then leaving the location) then most parties will be charged with conspiracy to commit (whatever crime). By the looks of the article these five bozos attacked the storefront with axes, but the poice were waiting for them, or someone had tipped the poice off and no crime of theft had occurred  That is what it looks like to me.... |

Nothing were taken from the boutique. All robbers were captured includes the one who managed to get away from the crime scene at the time, also arrested at his home. |
