....would be cool. Wouldn't it be kinda neat if they made the SA with the 3,6,9 subdial layout? Maybe even use the B01 movement for it. What do you think? |

Well, it wasn't a SA, but it was pretty big (at least as big as a CA, but like the SA, made in steel), looked like an SA, and had 3/6/9 subdials: With Piguet meca-quartz movement: ![]() With Piguet autowinding rattrapante movement, a tryly limited run of only 25, and a $21,000 recommended retail price at the time which was a record for a steel sports watch: ![]() |

Wow, that's pretty cool. Would be interesting to see if they eventually move this direction (as they have with the Navitimers and Chronomats) going to tricompax layout by putting in a B01 movement. |

I thought the chrono avenger rattrapante (my candidate for the 2012 Greatest Breitling ever) was automatic not meca-quartz? |

The ratty LE of 25 is automatic (the bottom photo in andrewjt's post is automatic), the LE of 600 (the top photo) is mecha-quartz, with a manual wind chronograph module and (bizarrely given the movement) a display back. |
