so.. was in an AD yesterday, and he said they are doing electronic registration now. and that will effect if you buy online or used. can anyone give me the skinny about buying a breitling off ebay or used? or on a website that says its new, even though breitling says they dont honor them being bought online.

It's the warranty registration that is electronic now. Basically if you don't buy new from an AD you don't get a warranty. If you buy a watch used that was originally bought from an AD and has warranty remaining then the warranty transfers.
