After struggling with myself over the model and version for a long time, I ordered a Chronomat Evolution at my AD this morning. I was trying to decide between black dial with silver sub-dials, graphite dial and sub-dials and slate-gray dial with black sub-dials, but I couldn't come to any conclusion. They are all beautiful.

My AD didn't have any of them in stock, so the first one they find will be my choice :D

zhoozhoo: Great decision. I KNOW you'll be very happy with your new Evo!!! No matter which of the grays your AD supplies you. Try and post a photo of your new beauty when you have the chance. We all like to look and another pretty face...when its a Breitling!

If you'll permit a noob to comment - the graphite dial is lovely as the red Automatique looks very nice on the graphite background and sort of sets it off a little bit!!!

Thanks a lot for suggestion, I'm a noob too :) My AD already called me and said they found one with black dial and will have by the end of the week :D

Now I'm thinking of buying a bracelet to wear with the watch. I saw a Sterling Silver ID bracelet at Tiffany's for a very reasonable price, I have to try it with the watch first...

Sterling silver won't look quite as nice with Stainless steel since its very "white" looking. You'll probably be happier with a White Gold bracelet. I have a couple of Sterling Silver bracelets that I do not wear that I'd sell you if you're interested tho! Really cheap!

I finally got my watch from my AD (La Swiss at Yonge and Bloor) last night :D Actually it has graphite dial and sub-dials. It looks great, I'll post pictures soon.

Admin, I have to agree with you about Sterling Silver looking 'white' with Stailess Steel. I'd rather save my money and buy the new iPod Touch

ipod touch = iphone with no fone = overpriced for 16gigs.

A gold bracelet would probably cost you less than an iPhone if you have connections or ebay.

iPhone is really overprices, but it's not available in Canada anyway. The new iPod Touch looks very sexy but I have to agree that it's too expensive. You can get a 160GB iPod classic for less.
