I PICKED UP THE SO HERITAGE BNIB TODAY. SET THE TIME WOUND IT PROPERLY AND IT WORKED FOR FIVE MINUTEDS AND THEN STOPPED. THEN THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN? I WILL BE TAKING IT THE THE AD TOMORROW BUT AM I DOING SOMETHING WORNG HERE? THE SWEEP SECOND HAND WORKS AND THEN STOPS. I SHAKE MY WRITE AND IT RESTARTS.
WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM/? TY

THANK YOU. I READ SOME OTHER S/O PROBLEMS AND MAGNATISM WAS CITED AS THE PROBLEM. HOW DO YOU DEMAGNATISE A WATCH? ALSO I LAYED THE WATCH FACE UP REWOUND IT AND NOW IT'S WORKING?
WHAT DID I DO RIGHT OR WRONG HERE.IT WAS IN THE AD CASE FOR TWO YEARS BEFORE TODAY.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED HERE .THANKS TO ALL!

It's not magnetised, and shaking it is not going to solve any problems (oh, and NEITHER IS SHOUTING).

If it is fully wound and works in some positions but not in others then there is possibly something quite seriously wrong with it - definitely take it back and I would ask for an exchange. It may simply be dirt in the movement but it could also be something like a broken jewel which is allowing a pinion to shift and affect whether the watch runs. If that's the case then it is likely an indication of a serious impact - like a drop on to a hard surface, so there may be other issues as well.

I sent it back to Breitling USA.I hope that they can fix the issue.I will post when it's back. Thank's to all who responded!
